iam studio és la branca de formació de ciasargantana, l’espai on el sistema iam es transmet i es posa en pràctica.iam studio is ciasargantana’s training branch, where the iam system is transmitted and put into practice.
iam studio neix de ciasargantana, companyia d’arts escèniques contemporànies amb més de vint anys de trajectòria. Aquí, la formació no se separa de la creació: el que s’investiga a escena es transmet a l’aula, i el que es treballa a l’aula torna a la creació.
El centre forma intèrprets i creadors a través del sistema iam, sota la direcció de Jordi Pérez i Soldevila, i té la seva seu a Lanau7, el laboratori d’art i tecnologia de la companyia a Ripoll.
iam studio is born from ciasargantana, a contemporary performing-arts company with more than twenty years of practice. Here, training is not separated from creation: what is researched on stage is passed on in the studio, and what is worked in the studio returns to creation.
The centre trains performers and creators through the iam system, under the direction of Jordi Pérez i Soldevila, and is based at Lanau7, the company’s art and technology laboratory in Ripoll.
Jordi Pérez i Soldevila
Creador, dramaturg, director i performer. Va estudiar interpretació a Barcelona i enginyeria de telecomunicacions a la UPC, i ha continuat formant-se amb professionals com Christine Adaire, Carol Rosenfeld, Janot Carbonell o Raimon Molins.
Ha escrit més de vint obres de teatre —entre elles No és país per a mites antics i Stan & Owsky (2013)—, ha compost bandes sonores i ha traduït peces al català i al francès. Com a director ha treballat amb ciasargantana i altres companyies de Catalunya, França i el Marroc.
El 2009 crea i dirigeix el grup de recerca La Cuina, on desenvolupa el sistema iam, i ha guiat tallers de «viure a través de l’acció» i «la dramatúrgia de l’acció» a Catalunya, França, Itàlia i el Marroc, entre d’altres.
Creator, dramaturg, director and performer. He studied acting in Barcelona and telecommunications engineering at the UPC, and has continued training with professionals such as Christine Adaire, Carol Rosenfeld, Janot Carbonell and Raimon Molins.
He has written more than twenty plays —among them No és país per a mites antics and Stan & Owsky (2013)—, composed soundtracks and translated works into Catalan and French. As a director he has worked with ciasargantana and other companies in Catalonia, France and Morocco.
In 2009 he created and directs the research group La Cuina, where he develops the iam system, and has led “living through action” and “the dramaturgy of action” workshops in Catalonia, France, Italy and Morocco, among others.

A Ripoll, Lanau7 és el laboratori d’art i tecnologia de la companyia i la seu de iam studio, on la formació reglada del sistema iam es transmet en els seus tres itineraris.In Ripoll, Lanau7 is the company’s art and technology laboratory and the home of iam studio, where the formal training of the iam system is passed on across its three programmes.
Lanau7 és el laboratori d’art i tecnologia de ciasargantana a Ripoll: un espai diàfan pensat per al treball físic, la recerca escènica, l’experiència immersiva i el streaming. Aquí s’impulsen projectes de recerca, creació, producció i acció comunitària —i és on iam studio fa la seva formació.
Lanau7 is ciasargantana’s art and technology laboratory in Ripoll: an open space designed for physical work, scenic research, immersive experience and streaming. Research, creation, production and community projects are driven from here —and it is where iam studio runs its training.
